L14 – L16 SP
The ergonomic all-rounder
Aiming high with safety and comfort
The L14 – L16 SP are versatile pallet stackers for storage and retrieval at heights of up to 5.3 metres and are also suitable for longer transport distances. What's more, they can also be used for occasional order picking. The stand-on platform provides a solid steel apron that increases the operator’s safety when working in confined and busy spaces or narrow aisles. The operator stands at a 45° angle to the fork direction, giving them outstanding all-round visibility and enabling them to adopt an ergonomic posture. In line with this, the L14 – L16 SP can be equipped with the unique Linde e-driver control concept, which was specially developed for the 45° position. The Linde OptiLift assistance system enables precise lifting movements and ensures efficient load handling. The four-point support with double castor wheels ensures maximum safety when storing and retrieving at height.
Characteristics
Safety
The operator's platform on the L14 – L16 SP features a robust, waist-high steel apron. In the 45-degree operating position, the apron wraps around the operator's back, ensuring secure footing and safe operation at all times. The wide mast provides excellent visibility of the load and the truck environment ahead to improve safety during goods handling. The truck stops as soon as the operator releases the butterfly control (dead man's switch). An optional foot detection sensor automatically brings the truck to a smooth stop when the operator's feet leave the platform. The trucks also feature Linde Curve Assist, which automatically reduces the operating speed when travelling around curves.
- Solid steel apron acts as a protective shield
- Excellent visibility through wide mast
- Self-braking when butterfly control is released
- Optional foot detection sensor for operator protection
- Speed adjustment when cornering
Ergonomics
Thanks to their electric power steering with adjustable steering resistance, the L14 – L16 SPs ensure effortless manoeuvrability in any work situation. Operator platform and control handle form one unit that is decoupled from the chassis and fully suspended to minimise physical strain on the operator. The unique standing position at a 45° angle enables the operator to effortlessly keep an eye on their surroundings in any direction without straining their back and neck with excessive twisting movements. The L14 – L16 SPs are equipped with a standard double handle or with the optional innovative Linde e-driver control concept. The Linde e-driver was specifically developed for the 45° operating position and can be operated with one hand if required. Both control options are height adjustable. The pallet stackers also feature a multi-functional colour display as well as spacious storage compartments.
- Electric power steering with adjustable steering resistance
- Fully suspended unit of operator platform and handle
- Unique 45° operating position
- Innovative Linde e-driver control concept
- Multi-function colour display
Handling
The L14 – L16 SPs offer high lifting and lowering speeds for maximum handling performance and high residual capacities for efficient and safe stacking and transport of large loads. The four-point support with double castor wheels ensures maximum stability, especially when storing and retrieving goods at great heights. The L14 – L16 SPs have a soft-landing function to protect the load. It ensures that the forks touch down gently on the ground. The optional initial lift function ensures better load handling on gradients or uneven floors. The pallet stackers also feature the Linde OptiLift assistance system, which allows precise and intuitive control of all lifting movements.
- High lifting and lowering speeds
- High residual capacity at great heights
- Four-point support for greater stability
- Soft-landing function for load protection
- Linde OptiLift control system
Servicing
Thanks to modern three-phase AC technology, the motors of the L14 – L16 SPs are virtually maintenance-free, which ensures high availability while keeping service costs low. Solid protection of components and a stable chassis guarantee fail-safety even under the toughest non-stop operation. The optional initial lift function protects the fork carriage from damage when operating over uneven ground. To give service technicians quick access to all relevant components, the L14 – L16 SPs have been consistently developed according to the "design to service" principle. Thanks to an innovative CAN bus structure, they can access all truck data via a diagnostic connector. The modern electric/electronic architecture enables software updates and new functions to be remotely installed on the truck at any time as long as it is equipped with an optional data transmission unit.
- Maintenance-free AC engine
- Robust construction
- CAN bus structure
- Easily accessible components
- Modern E/E architecture

Optional Equipment
Steering
The trucks can be equipped with an optional standard double handle or with the Linde e-driver steering concept, which features a steering handle that is optimised for the 45° position and can be operated with one hand. All functions like acceleration, lifting and horn are intuitively arranged and easy to reach for effortless operation.
Different mast types & heights
There are various mast types and heights available. The truck can be equipped with the ideal mast type and the optimal lifting height for the application.
Li-ION technology
In addition to the classic lead-acid batteries, there is also a new generation of Li-ION batteries available. These batteries ensure the pallet stacker can operate for up to three shifts.
Foot sensor
A foot sensor detects when the operator's feet leave the standing platform. The operating speed is then reduced accordingly until the truck comes to a complete standstill.
Cold store variant
The cold store variant guarantees full availability and performance of the truck up to minus 35° Celsius.
